African Savanna:
Ecosystem Dynamics and Natural Resillience.

Standard: LS2.C Ecosystem Dynamics, Functioning, and Resilience

What they learn

Students learn how ecosystems function and recover after change.

They explore food chains, predator-prey relationships, and how biodiversity helps maintain balance.

They begin to understand that every species from herbivores to scavengers plays a key role in the resilience of an ecosystem.

How they live it.

Through immersive VR, students enter the African savanna and observe animals like lions, zebras, elephants, giraffes, and vultures in their natural environments.

They see food chains in action, moments of balance between predators and prey, and how ecosystems bounce back after drought or migration.

This dynamic visual journey helps them understand that biodiversity isn't just variety  it's the key to resilience.
