Ocean Treasures:
Why We Must Protect Them.

Standard: LS4.D Biodiversity and Humans

What they learn

Students discover that every species no matter how small plays a role in the health of ecosystems and in supporting human life.

They learn how biodiversity contributes to clean air, water, pollination, seed dispersal, and disease control.

This experience helps them see that protecting even the smallest creatures protects us all.

How they live it

In immersive VR, students observe pollinators, decomposers, seed spreaders, and forest guardians in action species like bees, ants, fungi, bats, birds, and pangolins.

They watch how these “hidden helpers” quietly support ecosystems that humans rely on every day.

By witnessing their roles up close, students gain a deeper respect for biodiversity and feel empowered to protect it.

Ecosystems seen:

Tropical forests, grasslands, and jungle environments where humans and nature are deeply interconnected through invisible but essential relationships.
