SmartRabbit-XR, S.A. – Educational Virtual Reality Experiences

1. Service Description

SmartRabbit-XR provides immersive educational experiences using virtual reality (VR) technology, designed to complement the teaching of scientific, environmental, and conservation topics aligned with the NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards).

These experiences are delivered on-site at schools by trained SmartRabbit-XR staff and include the use of VR headsets, AR stations, and optional interactive sessions with biology professionals.

2. Target Audience and Responsibilities

• The service is intended for students from Kindergarten to 8th grade (K–8).

• All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult during the experience.

• The contracting school is responsible for:

  • Informing parents/guardians and collecting signed consent forms.

  • Ensuring that at least one school staff member is present with each group.

  • Notifying SmartRabbit-XR in advance of any student with medical, sensory, or behavioral conditions requiring special care.

3. Voluntary Participation

• Participation in the experience is 100% voluntary.

• No child will be forced to wear the headset or penalized for choosing not to participate.

4. Safety and Health

SmartRabbit-XR applies strict safety protocols.
All students receive clear instructions:

• Remain seated

• Do not remove the headset without permission

• Move your head gently – DO NOT spin or turn the chair forcefully or quickly

VR use is contraindicated for individuals with:

• Epilepsy or seizure disorders

• Pacemakers or other implanted medical devices

• Severe anxiety or psychological disorders related to visual stimuli

• Heart conditions, chronic dizziness, or sensory hypersensitivity

Schools and parents are responsible for identifying such conditions before participation.

5. Limitation of Liability

SmartRabbit-XR is not liable for mild adverse effects resulting from VR use (e.g., dizziness, nausea, emotional reactions, or visual discomfort).
Participation is undertaken at the user's own risk and with the informed consent of parents or legal guardians.
SmartRabbit-XR is only liable in cases of proven negligence by its staff.

6. Rescheduling and Cancellations

• Cancellations must be communicated at least 72 hours in advance.

• SmartRabbit-XR may reschedule in cases of force majeure (e.g., technical issues, extreme weather).

• If the school fails to meet logistical requirements or does not inform SmartRabbit-XR about students with special conditions, the company reserves the right to suspend the activity without refund.

7. Copyright and Content

All visual, audiovisual, and digital materials used by SmartRabbit-XR and Wild Immersion are protected by copyright.
Reproduction, recording, or use outside the context of the experience is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization.
This includes partial or full use of images, sounds, animations, or screenshots in any physical or digital format.

8. Modifications

SmartRabbit-XR reserves the right to update these terms. Updated versions will be posted on the official website and communicated to partner schools with reasonable notice.

9. Acceptance

Use of the service implies express acceptance of these terms and conditions by the school, participating teachers, students, and their legal guardians.
